Software Engineers, RTOS, C, C++, 6+ months, NY

5+ years Industry experience (advanced degree is desired)

Understanding ATM Subject Matter Area and/or Real-Time systems***UPDATE*** Even though the ATM (air traffic) experience is preferred, they will accept candidates who have experience with similar types of technologies such as radar systems, surveillance & tracking systems, etc. They like to see people who have worked on similar DoD/military projects for companies like Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, DRS, L3, etc. The need to have engineering backgrounds, not IT.

Experience with requirements analysis and design documentation development

In-depth understanding on FDP (Flight Data Processing) and FDT ( at least 1-2 persons out of 6 required should have this skill set)

Experience with writing technical proposal volumes

Experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) developments (at least 2-3 persons out of 6 required should have this skill set)

Knowledge of Hardware platforms (UNIX/LINUX servers, windows workstations, network equipment, KVM switches) (1 person out of 6 required should have this skill set)

Understanding of the Integration & Test process and Ability to develop test cases ( at least 1-2 persons out of 6 required should have this skill set)

Experience with data warehousing and database design.
