Must have prior experience composites fabrication from industries such as Sports, Aviation, Marine, Infrastructure, Furnishings, ect...

Must be able to hit ground running, and work wiith a minimum of supervision.

Must be able to travel 20% to other plants.

Mechanical Engineer with analytical skills, prefer background in composites with 10+ yrs experience in machine design, and process development.



Our interest in composites background would be more from a fabrication perspective than material science. Possible experience could come from Sports, Aviation, Marine, Transportation, Infrastructure or Furnishings industries.

We are ramping this search back up and are looking for a Lead Developer that can be hands on with .NET, C#, strong GUI - ideally with Trading or High Volume, High Transactional GUI development experience.

We would also be interested in candidates that work at Microsoft and have experience with WPF .NET 3.5

Keys to this Position

1. Leadership: Experience leading a development team of 15 (5 onshore and 10 offshore).

2. Technical: Must have experience with .NET version 2.0 or higher (We use version 3.5); Must have 2 plus years of C#; Five plus years of GUI development using Microsoft technologies; WPF data grid experience is a big plus. This is a new technology.

3. Trading Systems experience is a big plus. Financial Services in general is a big plus.

4. Selling point: This position gives the candidate a great opportunity to get a lot of Trading Systems experience at one of the largest buy side firms in the US.

Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems.

Specific requirements include:

* 10 plus years of experience including 3 plus years of experience managing or leading a development team.
* Two to Eight years of GUI development using Microsoft technologies
* Two years of .net development experience using C#
* Two years of using.net frameworks version 2.0 or greater
* Experience with Visual Studio 2005 or greater
* WPF or WCF is considered a strong plus
* Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
* Strong knowledge and experience with message technologies (e.g. MSMQ, ActiveMQ)
* Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application
* Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment
* Computer Science degree or related field
