Knowledge and Skills

* Candidate must be competent in the use and management of a wide variety of web technologies, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies.
* Candidate must be familiar with various development methodologies, like waterfall, COMPANYle etc.
* Candidate must have strong analytical skills to discern underlying business and technical needs.
* Candidate must also demonstrate very effective oral and written communication skills including ability to graphically communicate technical concepts.
* Knowledge of Financial Services is a plus but not required
* The candidate is expected to have a Bachelors degree level education in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university.

Professional Experience

* Minimum 5 years of experience in leading projects in the area of Web Portal and Web Site development.
* Al least 5 years experience using Microsoft technologies including .Net, MOSS 2007, SQL Server, etc.
* Should have experience in doing a comparative study or various web technologies and understand the pros and cons of each.
* Should have managed at least 4 Web Projects with a team of 5 or more developers.

Immediate Challenges and Priorities

The immediate priorities for the successful candidate will be:

* Immerse themselves in the current Portal and Website development project and understand the technical details with an objective to take over the development of all future releases.
* Develop relationship with other groups/teams involved in the project with an objective of working with them for the future development projects.
* Complete the technical review of the high level and low level design of the current portal.
